Orange background with GOOD NEWS! Your Gift Will go TWICE as Far to Fight Summer Hunger!

An anonymous family foundation has issued a generous matching gift challenge of $50,000 to help feed the growing number of people in need this summer. This means from now until August 30, any gift you give will double to help hungry families, children and seniors - until we reach a total of $100,000!

Summer is one of the hardest times of the year for those in need. When temperatures skyrocket, many seniors living on fixed incomes are forced to choose between paying utility bills, filling prescriptions and buying food. Kids who depend on their schools’ free or reduced-price meals asoverflowing grocery bag with equal sign, then 2 overflowing grocery bags their regular source of food during the school year are also at a serious risk of going hungry during the summer months.

You can help! Will you be a part of this special matching gift challenge by making a gift today? Please don’t wait - we need to hear from you by August 30!

Ways to make your gift are described below.

We invite you to learn what your gift of funds can do and to explore the many ways you can provide funds for our mission:  Donate Online, by Phone, By Mail, Matching Gifts, Stock Gifts, Legacy Gifts, In-Kind Gifts and Special Giving Opportunities such as shopping to stop hunger.

Tarrant Area Food Bank is supported primarily by private donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and community organizations.  As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we can only be successful as long as the community we serve supports us.
